1. WILL THIS REALLY WORK FOR ME?

Yes, if you truly want it to. You cannot get someone to do something that they do not want to do including quitting smoking. If you truly want to stop smoking, hypnosis is the only method that will effectively eliminate your desire to smoke.

Two things a smoker must address and then eliminate are the cravings and the urges. The cravings center in the conscious mind and the urges center in the subconscious mind. Through hypnosis, both are addressed and eliminated through the power of positive suggestions, repetition and visual images.

Remember, you wre not born with a cigarette in your mouth. You started out in life as a NON-SMOKER! At some point in your life you trained yourself to smoke. Through the power of your mind, repetition and hypnosis, you will retrain yourself to once again become a non-smoker.

2. WILL I GAIN WEIGHT?

It is a known fact that smoking causes dehydration. When you once again become a non-smoker, your body is going to naturally want to re-hydrate the cells that have been dehydrated over the years. What that means is that you could gain anywhere from 2 to 5 pounds of cellular re-hydration (water weight). This is NOT fat! Remember, this is water that your body needs!

Also, some people worry that they are going to crave sweets. You might, but by no fault of yours. Depending on what type of cigarette you smoke, each cigarette contains between 8% and 18% sugar! When tobacco is 'cured', it is soaked in sugar water and then dehydrated. That is why some people's hands will shake or show signs of nervousness when they go without cigarettes for a while. It's called hypoglycemia or low blood sugar. We can't tell you what to eat or drink, but foods with natural sugars such as fruit or juices such as cranberry juice will counteract any cravings you may have for sweets and help keep off the 'fatty' weight one can gain from eating too many sweets.

3.  HOW DOES HYPNOSIS HELP ME STOP SMOKING?

The mind operates at two levels, the conscious and subconscious. Your conscious mind has four functions which are the analytical, rational, short-term memory and your will power.

However, you subconscious mind only has three. But these three functions make up your core and represent who and what you truly are. The three functions are your emotions, your long-term memory and your habits!

So, through the power of positive therapeutic suggestions while under a state of hypnosis, we are able to talk directly to your subconscious mind and totally bypass the conscious mind thus giving us the ability to readjust one's habits as well as disconnnect the triggering mechanisms that once caused you to light up. 4. OTHER THINGS LIKE GUM AND THE PATCH HAVE FAILED...SO WHY WILL THIS WORK?

The patch, the gum and various pills, liquids etc. only address the symptoms and not the problem. These so-called remedies are only fooling the body for short periods of time. But until you adjust the mind, you will never overcome the problem. What happens is that the body will tell you one thing but the power of the mind will desire something completely different (like to smoke) and ultimately win out.

What hypnosis does is tackle the problems and habits head-on where they exist, in your subconscious mind. The results are long-term and much healthier because you did not have to put anything into your body.

5. WILL I QUIT AND LATER WANT TO START SMOKING AGAIN?

Only you can determine that. The number one reason why people start smoking long after they have successfully quit by way of hypnosis is due to something very stressful occurring in their life. Stress and tension cause cravings and cravings will cause you to want to smoke again. But, by always keeping your stress and tension under control, you will not want to smoke.
